Driven by Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood, the red Porsche 917K won with a five-lap lead over team-mates Larrousse/Kauhsen. The historic result was completed by victories for Porsche in all classes. The perfect body proportions are based on surface data made possible by digitizing a real 917K.
